Intypo WordPress plugin, minor update 0.6.2

Darius 14.52 Uhr Filed under: Intypo

I have just released version 0.6.2 of the Intypo plugin for international typography in WordPress. This small update does not feature most of the new ideas mentioned yesterday, but only two additions.

What’s new in Intypo 0.6.2?

  • Filtering of comments, as suggested by Andreas
  • Hungarian quotation marks, as proposed by Endre
  • Albanian comma style quotation marks
  • Italian comma style quotation marks with spacing
  • Turkish comma style quotation marks

Summary of the included styles

  • Comma style quotation marks for Albanian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, German, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovakian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish
  • Guillemet quotation marks for Albanian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovakian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish

Download
from the downloads page.

Installation
No editing of files is necessary.

  1. Download either intypo.zip (recommended for Windows) or intypo.tar.gz.
  2. Unpack it and copy the included file intypo.php to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  3. Direct your browser to your plugins page (on admin interface) and activate the Intypo plugin.
  4. Go to Options and find the Intypo options page.
  5. Select the desired style and click to »update options«.

Updating
Just download the new version of intypo.zip or intypo.tar.gz, unpack it, copy intypo.php to your plugins directory and you‹re done.

Note to Hungarian users:
If you followed Endre’s proposal and added Hungarian quotation marks as $ity_quot[8], everything is fine, because I kept the 8 for Hungarian. You can safely update to get the comment filtering.

  1. Vielen Dank für das Plugin. Kann ich wirklich gut gebrauchen. Bisher habe ich mir anders »geholfen«. Ich habe die Quicktags.js missbraucht 🙂
